ABOUT THIS EVENT
Let Mum know you’ll be taking her out for 3 hours of relaxing yoga and craft this Mother’s Day!
Yoga instructor Michelle & craft wiz Coby will be your guides as you move your body with Gentle Flow Yoga and tie a macrame plant holder.
No experience in yoga or macrame is necessary, beginners are perfectly welcome.
The yoga sequences will be simple, easy to follow and will have variations that can cater to injuries.
Macrame is mindful!
The knot tying process of macrame has calming effects, anchoring the mind to the present moment. As you tie a knot you can feel the smooth rope moving through your hand and your mind focus solely on the next knot. This mindfulness practice can put you in a space of ease and deep contentment. Not to mention the sense of satisfaction that comes with creating a gorgeous pot plant hanger for your home.
Yoga is divinely relaxing!
Gentle Flow Yoga slowly releases your muscles and connective tissue and can leave you feeling light and bright. The mindful movement of yoga brings you into the moment as you feel into your body during the sequences.
Walk away with a beautiful plant hanger and a relaxed body and mind.
Spaces are limited!
All equipment including yoga mats/bolsters/blocks included as well as the materials for the macrame.
Enjoy this Mother’s Day in the Perth Hills doing yoga and crafts!

ABOUT THE TEACHER
A friend introduced Michelle to Ashtanga Yoga while she was teaching English in South Korea in 2001. When Michelle started her Yoga practice, she thought of yoga purely as a physical workout. As her journey continued, she began letting go of her ego and competitive nature and became more in tune with what her body, mind and soul needed.
She practices yoga now to keep herself strong yet nimble, to smile, to help calm her mind and as a reminder to stay present in this wonderful moment.
Yoga has continued to guide Michelle through motherhood. With two young & spirited girls, her mat is a place where she can find peace and share it with them. She believes yoga can provide the balance we need in life to be kind, positive, patient and giving people.
